Jodee Sayre-Merriman

Jodee Sayre-Merriman is an Academic Advisor in the School of Journalism at KU. As a first-generation college student, Jodee graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Washington State University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Before coming to the University of Kansas, Jodee worked as a high school counselor in the Kansas City area. Jodee has a love for travel that began as a study abroad experience and continues to grow with each new adventure she takes with her family. Jodee is an avid seamstress, an okay-ish yogi, loves to cook, catches every Chiefs game she can, and is still her kids’ biggest fan. She and her husband are empty nesters doing life in Lenexa with two very spoiled doggies.
