Shelly Mann

Shelly is an Assistant Director in Jayhawk Academic Advising and leads the Health and Behavioral Sciences advising team. Shelly has a B.A. in Sociology and Administration of Justice from Bethany College. She also holds a Master of Science in Community Mental Health Counseling from Fort Hays State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). 

Shelly began working in higher education in 2004. Before joining Jayhawk Academic Advising, she was the Retention Coordinator in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at KU since 2015. Prior to her time at KU, her background was in academic advising, as Director of TRiO Student Support Services, and student counseling.
