Biography

Mikki Moul has been at the University of Kansas since 2025 and now serves as the Assistant Director in Graduate Academic Advising. Prior to this role, she worked as a Senior Academic Advisor supporting graduate online students. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in school counseling from Long Island University in Brookville, NY. Building relationships with peers and faculty has always been incredibly important to Mikki, and a faculty mentor from her graduate program played a pivotal role in her path to higher education. She began her career at small, private institutions on Long Island, NY—Long Island University in Brookville and New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury—before moving to the Midwest, where she worked at another small, private institution prior to joining the University of Kansas. Mikki has over a decade of experience in academic advising across a variety of programs and majors, student success and retention initiatives, student support services, and peer training and course instruction. In her role as Assistant Director, she also contributes to leadership, program development, and collaborative initiatives within Graduate Academic Advising. Mikki is passionate about support students', peers, and teammates holistic experiences here at KU.
