Marcus Cottrell

Marcus is an academic advisor for undergraduate students admitted to the School of Education and Human Sciences at KU. Prior to becoming a Jayhawk, he worked as a Community Coordinator for Kansas State University Housing and Dining Services. He earned both his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Iowa State University. In his free time, Marcus enjoys meeting new people, exercising, walking his dog, singing with the Central Standard Barbershop Chorus, playing instruments, eating, anime, and taking road trips.
