Welcome to the University of Kansas Undergraduate Advising Center!

My name is Hall Alexander and I am an academic advisor at the UAC. I came to the University in 2003 as a student and basically never left—completing my undergraduate & graduate studies here. Prior to joining the UAC team I served as student staff at the KU Registrar’s Office and as a liaison for the KU Center for Global & International Studies. While I am a native Kansan I’ve also spent a considerable amount of time traveling, studying, and working abroad—particularly in Italy, Guatemala, India, China, Honduras, and Brazil.

Simply put, my role at the UAC is to help students excel at KU–whether that be in selecting a major, identifying appropriate curricula and resources, navigating University policies and regulations, or simply being someone to talk with as obstacles arise. One thing I always encourage students to do is take advantage of the plethora of opportunities available at the University, especially those outside the classroom.

KU is truly a great place to be.
