Academic Help

Academic Achievement and Access Center
The AAAC houses Tutoring Services, Disability Resources, academic success consultations and workshops, as well as PRE 101, a freshman transition course.
Freshman transitions to college
The College Board, administrator of advanced placement programs and the SAT, offers advice for transitions to college, academic and otherwise.
GPA calculator
Calculate your GPA, the number of hours you need to raise your GPA to some minimum, or the semester GPA you need to raise your overall GPA.
Kansas Algebra Program
The Kansas Algebra Program offers support features for MATH 002 (Intermediate Algebra) and MATH 101 (College Algebra) such as opportunities to retake exams, a math help room providing free homework help, exam reviews, and more.
Supportive Educational Services
Supportive Educational Services is a federally funded TRIO Program. They assist first-generation college students, low-income students, and students with documented disabilities in obtaining their undergraduate degrees.
Undergraduate Catalog
A new, interactive version of the undergraduate catalog will be available in Summer 2010.
Writing Center
The Writing Center is a place for productive talk about writing, with trained peer consultants to help you brainstorm, draft or edit your writing.

Co-Curricular Engagement

Center for Service Learning
Service learning fosters better understanding of classroom material, is a catalyst for innovative leadership and social responsibility, and drives positive change in the world. Students can receive transcript certification in service learning through a program offered by the CSL.
Global Awareness Program
The Global Awareness Program (GAP) is a KU initiative that recognizes undergraduates' international experiences. Students can receive transcript certification for experiences including study abroad, classes with an international focus, foreign language study and international co-curricular activities.
Office of Multicultural Affairs
The fundamental role of the OMA is to assist students of color in successfully participating in every level of the University experience and becoming successful graduates.
Student Involvement and Leadership Center
The Student Involvement and Leadership Center serves the University of Kansas community as advocates, advisors, and educators for students and student organizations by providing various services, programs, and experiences to create and foster involvement and leadership opportunities that enhance professional, personal, and educational development in preparation to become contributing citizens of a diverse society.
Study Abroad
The Office of Study Abroad provides low-cost, high-quality study abroad programs. The University of Kansas offers semester, academic year, summer, winter break and spring break programs in over 70 countries throughout the world.
Research Experience Program
The Research Experience Program (REP) allows students to receive transcript certification for undergraduate research experiences guided by faculty.
University Career Center
The University Career Center (UCC) offers a wide range of quality services designed to support and challenge students at all points on the career development and implementation continuum.

Enrollment

Admission to KU

Enroll & Pay
This is the enrollment, billing, and student records system used at KU. Students use this tool to enroll in courses, check their grades, pay tuition bills, and a number of other functions.
New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation's programs, which run throughout the school year, are designed to help acclimate your student to the KU community.
Readmission to KU

Registrar's Office
The University of Kansas Registrar provides students, staff and faculty members with tools, forms, applications, and instructions in order to effectively interact with the University with academics in mind.
Schedule of Classes
This tool allows students to perform advanced searches on the university schedule of classes, including searching by class start time, professor, and general education categories.

Financial Issues

Billing and Payment (Bursar's Office)
The Bursar's Office is responsible for the billing and processing of tuition and fee payments, collection services on past due accounts, third party billings, and the disbursement of excess financial aid and all other refunds.
Office of Student Financial Aid
The University of Kansas Office of Student Financial Aid serves students, families, and the community by providing financial aid information and resources to assist students in achieving their educational goals.
Tuition
All students pay a per-credit-hour rate based on how may class credits they take each semester. All students pay the same Required Campus Fees. Some students will pay additional per-credit-hour Course Fees depending on whether they are enrolled in a professional school. The Course Fee varies by school.

Counseling & Psychological Services
CAPS provides services to students seeking help for psychological, interpersonal, family problems and other issues related to succeeding at the university.
Disability Resources
Disability Resources works with all units at the University to ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to succeed at KU.

Legal Services for Students
Legal Services for Students allows students to seek the advice of an attorney when they anticipate or encounter legal problems.
Student Jobs (HawkStudent Employment)
HawkStudent Employment, on the KUCareerHawk website, is open to all KU students and is designed to assist students in securing off-campus employment regardless of their financial aid eligibility.
Watkins Health Center
Student Health Services supports the student's learning experience through the delivery of high quality affordable healthcare services and innovative programs that promote the health of the student, University and community.

Student Life

Child Care (Hilltop Child Development Center)
Hilltop provides high quality care and education for young children on the KU campus. One of their primary goals is to help student parents complete their education at KU successfully. Children of University of Kansas students receive highest priority on their waiting lists.
Department of Student Housing
The mission of the Department of Student Housing is to build excellent communities through individual support and respect.
Hawk Days
Hawk Days is a series of programs and events that focus on academic success, stress relief, career and life planning workshops, and campus and community involvement.
Hawk Week
Hawk Week events are a great way to meet new friends, learn about University offices, and get involved.
Memorial Unions
Created as the campus community center in 1926, the KU Memorial Unions remain the "living room of campus" where the KU community comes together for entertainment, exchange and understanding.
Recreation Services
KU Recreation Services provides University of Kansas students, faculty, and staff with a variety of resources for physical fitness, team, and individual sports, classes, and personal training.
